November update
We started off November on a short camping trip to Salt Springs. We went for a weekend. It was a nice relaxing weekend. We took the dogs with us and they had a good time. We went on a bike ride and pulled Devin in his little bike trailer. We were only able to take one bike ride because Daddy's bicycle had a tire blowout.
We went to the Deland Art Festival and the weather was beautiful. We met the Sloan family there. Devin got to play with his friends, Regan and Cayden.
Thanksgiving was at my mothers house this year. All my family that lives in Florida was there. My Aunt Diane from Pennsylvania came into town. Philip's Dad and Brother also came over. It was nice spending time with all the family.
After Thanksgiving we had two birthday parties to go to. We went to Mellon Park in Sanford for Ella Eagan's party. Then on Sunday we went to birthday world for Luke Christensen's birthday party. Devin is quite the popular kid. He had a good time. Mellon Park has several play ground sets for the kids and it is right on the lake. It was very nice. Birthday world is an indoor play area for kids. They had bounce houses, rides, & games. Devin finally got to play in a bounce house. He wasn't sure what to think at first but then he really started to enjoy it.

Catching up.....
September
We went to Daytona Beach and stayed for 4 nights. Thanks to Nanny for letting us use her timeshare all the time. It was an interesting trip to say the least. It started out with a massive building fire right across the street from our hotel room. We had to park the car far away from the hotel and walk because they were not letting any cars in that area. Devin did not cooperate much during the trip. He was cranky and a momma’s boy. He would not leave my side for anything. I better enjoy it while I can. When he gets older hanging out with mommy won't be the cool thing to do...
We already traded in our travel trailer for a larger one. Yes, I know we only had the old one for 4 months. The old one was just a little small for our family. We were having a real tough time getting Devin to sleep in the old trailer. It was not wide enough to put a pack n play for Devin to sleep. It did have bunk beds but it was single bunk beds so we couldn't lay with him to get him to sleep. Our new trailer has bunk beds where the bottom bunk is a full size bed so one of us can lay with Devin to get him to sleep. The new trailer also has more sitting room because it has a couch and a dinette. The old one did not have a couch.
We tried our new trailer out at the end of September by going to Disney’s Fort Wilderness for a weekend. Nanny came with us and there was plenty of room for the four of us. We had a good time.
September was also a big month for Devin. He went on the potty for the first time (both #1 & #2). However, I don’t think he is ready for potty training yet because after that he really has not even wanted to go on the potty. We probably need to be a little better about making him go.
Devin also started speech therapy in September. He really was already starting to become more vocal before the speech therapist but it has helped give him the little push he needed to start talking. A speech therapist comes to his school once a week to work with him. He is doing great. In the past 3 weeks his speech has exploded. He is full blown talking now. He says Mama, Daddy, Bailey, Gracie, Nanny, Shell, no, yes, ball, bat, thank you, please, Nemo, up, down, na-na for horse, blanket, juice, milk, shoe, water, excuse me, night-night. He also makes several different animal noises like moo, quack quack, oink oink, ba-ba.
October
Devin went to his first birthday party at Chuckie Cheese. One of his friends from school turned 2. He loved playing the little games they have. He liked watching Chuckie from a distance. He was terrified when Chuckie got close to him. He grabbed on to me and was literally shaking he was so scared. He was like that with Chip and Dale when we were at Disney. He is very curious and loves to look at them when they are far away but the moment they get anywhere near him forget it…
We went to several different Halloween events in October. We went to SeaWorld again for their Halloween Spooktacular. We have got a lot of use out of the annual passes. He loves going there.
We also went to a Halloween festival at Gemini Springs in Debary the weekend before Halloween. It was mostly bounce houses for kids and Devin is not really into those yet. After that we went to Mike & Wendy Johnsons and let the kids play. Devin had a blast running around with Emily & Ashley.
On Halloween day Devin was at Nanny’s house. I went to pick him up and planned on leaving after his nap. His nap turned into a 4 hour nap so by the time we got home it was about around 6pm. For Halloween, Devin was going to be DJ Lance Rock from Yo-Gabba Gabba. However, he does not want anything to do with dressing up yet. So, he never even put the costume on. On Halloween night we went to a local church festival and he had a blast. They had a petting zoo, hayrides, games, etc. We met the Johnsons & Sloans there.
Devin's Aunt Kim & Great Grandma Mead came to visit us in October. I had to work most of the time. Devin skipped school and went over to Nanny's with Aunt Kim. So, he got to spend several days with them. Aunt Kim bought him a John Deer Tractor for Christmas. Early Christmas present since she won't be here for Christmas. He is not real sure what to think of it yet.
Devin has recently started getting into movies. He obviously will not watch them all the way through but he will watch a good portion of them. His favorite movies right now are Cars & Nemo. It is so cute to watch him watch these movies because he is starting to imitate what they are saying in the movie.

Fort Wilderness - July
We went to Disney's Fort Wilderness in July. My brother and niece were here from PA. We had a good time. Devin really loved the pool and the slides at the pool.

Look Who's Two...
Our little baby is 2 years old!!! He had a great birthday weekend. We took him to the Omni for the weekend. We hung out by the pool all weekend. Devin loved that. He got to practice some of his swimming skills he has been learning. He can swim between Philip & I with no help. He is doing so good. He loves the water. He loves to go under the water. He comes up with a big smile on his face. He started swimming lessons about a month ago.
Today we had a small birthday party for him with just our family. We had a great time. Devin got to spend some time with his Grandpa, Nanny, Uncle Tim & his cousin Michelle....
He got some money for his college fund, Thomas the Train track, bike helmet, wagon with blocks, batting stand, clothes, books, and I am sure I have missed some things. This is the first time he actually unwrapped gifts. Last year at Christmas he was just to young. He loved playing with the paper.
Here are some photos of his very special weekend.........
