Today I suprised Philip with an early birthday present. I booked a trip to go back to Guatemala to visit Devin. We went over to my mother's house for Easter. We had a cake and sang Happy Birthday to Philip. I gave him a Daddy Birthday card from Devin. In the card it said "I can't wait to spend your birthday with you, Love, Devin".
Philip read the card and put it down. He did not get it at all. I asked him, did you even read the card? He repied, yeah I read it and he then looked at it again. He still did not get it!! I then had to explain to him that we were going to Guatemala for his birthday. Needless to say he was very suprised.
All in all we had a great Easter and wish that Devin was here to celebrate with us. We are so excited to see him this week and can't wait to hold him in our arms.

- 3-28-08: 2nd trip to visit Devin
- 2-21-08: Back in PGN
- 2-15-08: Met Devin for the first time
- 1/7-1-15-08: Kicked out of PGN on 3 previos
- 11-2-07: Entered PGN
- 10-11-07: Family court interviews birth mother & foster mother
- 10-3-07: Embassy pre-approval received
- 9-24-07: Received DNA results via email
- 9-18-07: DNA test completed
- 8-16-07: Accepted referral
- 8-9-07: Devin is born!!!

What a blessing to be headed down for another visit. We visited twice during Samantha's adoption and treasure each trip. Can't wait to see pictures of you as a family of 3! Praying for a PGN OUT!
